Student Representative Council

The Student Representative Council is an elected group from Years 1 to 12, who represent the voice of the students and form a part of the Leadership team. These students assist with significant student-led events throughout the year as well as the daily responsibilities associated with their role.

They meet weekly to discuss issues affecting students and solutions to these issues. The role of the SRC is to organise events that promote a positive school environment. The SRC is elected by the students during the first few weeks of school each year.

The Student Representative Council allows students to:

  • work as a member of a team
  • develop and build positive relationships, between peers and teachers
  • contribute to the school community
  • use their voice responsibly
  • value the perspectives and opinions of others
  • participate in decision-making.
