Business Studies/Commerce Teacher | Temporary Full Time Maternity Leave | Commecing from Term 3,2025

We are seeking a passionate Business Studies/Commerce Teacher to join our dynamic team on a full-time, 12-month temporary contract covering a maternity leave position.

This role involves teaching Business Studies and Commerce across various year levels, with a small Geography teaching load. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons, inspiring students to develop critical thinking and a passion for learning.

You will be responsible for:

  • Teach Business Studies and Commerce, ensuring lessons align with the NSW curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.
  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse student needs.
  • Assess and provide meaningful feedback on student progress.
  • Utilise modern teaching practices, technology integration, and data-driven assessment strategies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Essential Criteria :

  • Hold current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • A strong alignment with the values and ethos of Hills Grammar.
