Transport

There are a number of transport options available

• Public bus | Hillsbus and Busways
• Private Hills Grammar Buses servicing areas that do not have adequate public transport
• Families in their own vehicle
• Or a combination

Public Buses

Bus drop-off and pick up for all services is inside the School Campus at Gate 1.

Hillsbus | Visit the Hillsbus website and scroll down to The Hills Grammar School to view bus routes and timetables between Hills Grammar and Parramatta, Knightsbridge, Annangrove, Winston Hills, Castle Hill, Glenhaven, Kellyville, Beaumont Hills, Rouse Hill, Kenthurst, Glenorie, Galston, Berowra, Carlingford, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Beecroft and Eastwood.

Busways | Visit the Busways website and enter Hills Grammar to view bus routes and timetables between Hills Grammar and Oakville, Cattai, Marayla, Rouse Hill, Windsor, Kellyville, McGraths Hill, Riverstone and Vineyard.

All students are required to hold an OPAL card. Students MUST tap on and off when they travel to and from school. This is important as usage data is gathered by tapping on and off and this data is used to determine demand for bus services.  If students don't tap on and off, services may be canceled due to a lack of recorded patronage. Private Bus Services

Hills Grammar provides seven dedicated private buses for transport to and from the School. Chartered by Norwest Coaches, the buses are air-conditioned, fitted with seat belts and branded as Hills Grammar. The buses operate each school day of the year. 

Our Bella Vista and Hornsby bus services are currently at capacity. Please register to be placed on the waiting list, and we will contact you once a spot becomes available.

• The Ponds – Stanhope Gardens, The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Schofields, Kellyville North and Kellyville Ridge Route and Timetable  
• Glenwood, Annangrove, Norwest and Kellyville Route and Timetable  
• The Hornsby Area – Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook, Mt Colah, Asquith, Hornsby Heights, Wahroonga, Hornsby, Normanhurst, Westleigh and Thornleigh Route and Timetable 
• Epping, Carlingford, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Cheltenham and Beecroft Route and Timetable  
• The Gables/Box Hill Route and Timetable  
• Kellyville Ridge  Route and Timetable
• Galston and Glenorie Route  Route and Timetable 

The Private Bus service costs $450, incl GST per term, which covers registration and travel on the designated route.
