Welcome back to 2017, the sporting calendar will offer a wide variety of activities for students from kindergarten to Year 12. The school newsletter is an important communication tool to deliver our sporting messages, so it is hoped that you will be well informed from our fortnightly editions.
Netball Registrations

Football Registrations
Football registrations will be open on line early next week and information will be distributed to the school community.
Registration afternoon
Both the Netball and Football Club will be having a registration afternoon where parents can come into school and register their child to play for the respective clubs.
Registration day will be Friday 10 February from 3-5pm at the school oval.
Representative Pathways
During the school year there is a number of opportunities where students can represent in their chosen sport. Please visit the CIS website which will outline all sports that are offered at CIS level for both Junior and Senior students.
Senior students should note the link to the AICES calendar that provides dates for nominations to each sport.
To nominate either a parent or child needs to contact the sports office so that the nomination process can be completed.
Junior School Swimming Carnival
Students in Year 3-6 will travel to Ryde Aquatic Centre next Tuesday to compete in the junior swimming carnival. Please see below the programme of events.

Congratulations
Congratulations to Melanie Sheen who was part of the Majestic Ice team that won the Synchronized Skating Championships in November. From this Melanie was selected into the Australian Junior team and will now compete at the Junior World Championships. Melanie will train extensively in the USA in the lead up to the World championships.
