STRENGHT AND CONDITIONING COACH | CASUAL | Commencing in Term1,2024
this is a casual role to commence from 1 February 2024.Casual Strength and Conditioning coaches are members of the Hills Grammar Sports Department which is inspired at all times by the schools values. Each staff member participates in the effective management of the sports program of the school as an integral part of the Hills Grammar community.
As a Casual Strength and Conditioning Coach, you have responsibility for coaching and implementing strength and conditioning programs for teams and individuals at the school. Through a strong understanding of school policy and process, you will contribute to the Strength and Conditioning program in line with the strategic intent of the Sport Department.
The logistical responsibilities of the role include the following core functions:
- Assistance and contribution to the Strength and Conditioning Program.
- Practical, face to face instruction for teams and individuals.
- Utilisation of technology and software solutions for the Strength and Conditioning Program.
- Implementation of school policy and process through the program
- Pastoral care & student welfare management.
Skills and Experience Essential to the role:
- Relevant Tertiary Education and professional experience
- High level of organisational skill.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Ability to learn and use a range of applications and School related software.
- Highly refined communication skills, both written and oral Commitment to the School’s Mission, Vision and Values.

HSIE TEACHER(ECONOMICS) | PERMANENT FULL TIME | Commencing in Term1,2024
We are inviting applications for an ongoing Full Time HSIE Teacher, with a speciality in Economics to join our team in Term 1 2024. This role will involve Stage 6 Economics along with Stage 5 Commerce and potential for another HSIE subject area, such as Geography or Legal Studies. Key Responsiblities
- Experience and / or qualifications to teach Stage 6 Economics
- Desirable experience / qualifications in another HSIE area, such as Geography or Legal Studies
- Work effectively as part of the faculty team.
- Differentiate learning to meet diverse learning needs.
- Sound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback.
- Use effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Show an ability to develop, implement and monitor quality personalised learning plans, including quality literacy and numeracy practices, that will enhance students’ ability to access the general curriculum.

MULTIPLE MUSIC TUTOR POSITIONS | CASUAL
Hills Grammar is seeking the following Music Tutors to join our school’s outstanding faculty based in Kenthurst.
- Woodwind – Clarinet/Saxophone
- Voice
- String – Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
Key Priorities
- Teaching weekly lessons to individual students from Junior to Senior School age
- Junior classroom instrumental groups (Woodwind classes each Thursday)
- Potential for conducting and preparing a weekly music ensemble
- Before school, during and after-school teaching times, available depending on both tutor availability and allocation of students.
Education and Experience
- Qualifications and experience in teaching individual lessons, ensembles and small group teaching to both Junior and Senior school students (experience from Kindergarten to Year 12 is desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of music curricula
- An understanding of and commitment to the educational needs of a wide range of students
- An ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement beyond the classroom.
