Session Information

This writing program starts from sentence construction to multiple paragraph text writing. It is also called the Hochman method. It helps students master strategies to become skilled writers. There is significant emphasis on planning and revising each written work. The content used to teach writing is embedded in the curriculum across all grade levels. This session will include ideas, strategies, and templates to equip students with the ability to recognize and construct clear and complex sentences, construct single paragraphs, and from there to multiple paragraph composition. These strategies can be sprinkled through the existing ways that writing is taught at Hills Grammar.
