Cross Country – thank you for your contributions to our fundraising effort for Ronald McDonald House through our School Cross Country/Fun Run. All prizes have arrived and will be distributed to classrooms this week. A final total of just under $10,000 was raised for Ronald McDonald House so a big thank you to all.
Congratulations to our new Squash Representative teams who competed at Knox and Thornleigh squash courts on Saturday morning. Team 1 consisting of Thomas Wang (Year 4) and Ramya Satchi (Year 9) played a very strong Knox team and had our younger players up against some older more physical kids, although losing each match they were very competitive, and we look forward to seeing their progress in the Division 1 competition.
Team 2 that consisted of Elizabeth Wang (Year 3), Vedhika Satchi (Year 7) and Grace Ethan (Year 10) had a first up win and we look forward to seeing the other members of the team on the courts in the coming weeks.
Congratulations to the Under 15 Boys Football Team who played Holy Cross College Eastwood in the first round of the Bill Turner Knockout Football Competition. Our boys were excellent in their commitment and played some very entertaining football, unfortunately a very late goal in both halves had the team go down 2-0, and bow out of the competition, however we look forward to seeing the boys compete in future competitions.
Basketball Club Presentation – a reminder to all members of the Hills Grammar Basketball Club, we will be holding an informal presentation on the Hills Grammar Sports Precinct Courts on Friday 14 May from 5-6pm, with a BBQ and trophies to be handed out to MVP and Coaches Award recipients.
