Please note that in Term 1 there are a number of nominations for individual and team Representative Pathways. Please note that these nominations need to come through the Sports Office and students nominating for these teams need to be playing at a high level or at Representative level.

Congratulations to Rory Wilson (Year 10), Ryan Leong (Year 9), Saif Tareen (Year 8) and Syed Omar Ali (Year 8) who all competed at the HZSA Open Boys Tennis Championships on Monday, in what was a tough competition the boys represented Hills Grammar in an excellent manner and finished 4th overall in the teams event. We look forward to further success in years to come as the boys gain more experience at this level.
Congratulations to our Open Boys Basketball Team who competed at what is one of the strongest school basketball competitions across NSW, a younger group of boys were selected this year and they came up against some quality opposition who were a lot bigger than our team. However the boys represented the school with pride and never gave up and eventually finished 7th overall against all AICES Schools in NSW. Well done boys and we look forward to seeing the team develop in years to come.
Congratulations to Aiden Moretti (Year 6) and Jordan O’Neil (Year 6) who were selected into the HZSA Primary Basketball Team that will now this week compete at the CIS selection day, best of luck to both boys.
Our Junior Girls (secondary) Futsal Team started their competition this week and congratulations for their first up win against William Clarke College coming from behind to win 3-2.
Hills Zone Sport starts next week for all of our Primary teams. We have strong teams selected after a very thorough selection process and we look forward to seeing our teams participating over the next ten weeks of competition. Thank you to all players who have trialled, if you missed out on these teams we strongly encourage you to register for the Hills Grammar Sports Clubs, please look to contact geoff.johnson@hillsgrammar.nsw.edu.au for football registrations, or Tanya.zelasko@hillsgrammar.nsw.edu.au for netball registrations. These registrations close soon for both clubs.
