In response to the restrictions associated with COVID-19, the School created a remote Learning Lounge Program for parents which was launched at the start of Term. Our staff have contributed to this program, including Trent Worrall (PDHPE teacher and Head of Student Leadership and Service) and Raquel Henson, Hills Grammar parent and ECEC Educator. Trent’s “Pilates for Beginners” video session, and Raquel’s podcasts have been real hits with our parents.
The program is refreshing, informative and fun. There are currently five online sessions available:
- Raising Screenagers, presented by Kristy Goodwin, Digital Wellness and Parenting Educator
- Your Personal Wellbeing, presented by Kathryn Taylor, Turning Point Consulting
- Eat to Thrive: Nutrition for Children, presented by Raquel Henson, Hills Grammar
- Pilates for Beginners, Presented by Trent Worrall, Hills Grammar
- How to Make Your Wardrobe Work for You, presented by Angela Barbagallo, Personal Stylist.
