Jersey Day | 1 September

On Friday 1st  September, Hills Grammar will celebrate Jersey Day by allowing all students in ECEC – Year 12 to wear a Jersey to school and dress in full mufti. Jersey Day is all about promoting awareness of the Organ and tissue Authority and the Donate Life network. This is a social cause inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo, who’s young life was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015.

Nathan’s family chose to give the gift of life to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality. This day is designed to allow students and employees to wear their favourite sporting jersey to show their support for the Donate Life network and begin the conversation with friends and families about Organ Donation.

To ensure this day is a success we ask the following:

- Students who would like to participate in the day can wear full mufti as long as they are wearing a
  sporting jersey

- Clothing must be appropriate for school (enclosed shoes, sun safe, appropriate length shorts/skirts)

- If students have a practical lesson, they must wear appropriate clothing or bring a change of clothes
  suitable.

Thank you for supporting this worthwhile cause.
