Co-curricular Program

As Guidelines begin to ease we are seeing some changes in our Co-curricular Program. Some activities are returning, albeit under different circumstances, however the majority of our after school programs will be held off until 2022 to ensure that we can provide a safe environment for our students and work within the NSW Health recommendations.

Our Hills Grammar Basketball Teams and Touch Football teams are well into their competitions and have commenced training sessions outdoors to improve their skills. Volleyball teams have also begun their training. The Dance Ensemble continues to run online as do many of our Music activities. If you are unsure about the return of any activity please contact hg.co-curricular@hillsgrammar.nsw.edu.au or music@hillsgrammar.nsw.edu.au

Our Outdoor Education Program will return for Years 2 to 5 this term with the team from Somerset Outdoor Learning Centre running full day programs on campus for these year groups. Students will be guided through fun activities and enjoy lunch at our Camp Kitchen, developing an appreciation for the natural environment we are lucky to have right here on campus. Further details will be provided to these year groups.

Our Co-curricular Connect Program on Thursday afternoons continues in its new format for Term 4, with students participating in their choice of activity from Creative Arts (Week 5), STEM (Week 6), Service (Week 7) and Music (Week 8). Classes have been enjoying being able to choose their own activity each week based on the theme.
