ARTiculate | English: Critical and Creative Responses Under Pressure | 15 June

This two-part presentation aims to support students in responding to tasks in English Standard, Advanced and EAL/D exam conditions. Part 1 provides tips and a toolkit for responding critically to unseen texts in Paper 1, Module A: Texts and Human Experiences. Part 2 provides tips, and a toolkit for responding to writing prompts in Advanced/Standard Module C, the Craft of Writing and EAL/D Focus on Writing. The presentation aims to help students reduce stress around time-sensitive challenges and navigate critical and creative strategies. Click here to register.

UNSW Co-op Applications | Online Application Closes 30 September 2023

The first step is to Register Online to start your application. The earlier you do this, the longer you’ll have to work on your application. A list of achievements is a good start, but an explanation about how these achievements have helped you grow as an individual is much better!

Sydney Film School - 2024 Applications Now Open

No matter what you are intending to study and where, you will be sure to find some financial assistance on offer to help you pay for it. There are currently more than 3000 scholarships available to Australian students, across both the higher education and vocational sectors. Scholarships can cover an array of costs from tuition fees to living and accommodation costs, our advice is to investigate your options early on as the amount of information to get through and applications to fill can be overwhelming. REELise Film Festival

The REELise Film Festival is designed to give young people an opportunity to share their stories about navigating digital life to entertain, educate and inspire positive change online. National finalists feature online and in cinema. You can be part of a fun youth oriented event and win great prizes including cash, filmmaking equipment and industry experiences. Entry is free and open to young people 10-18 years in each State and Territory of Australia.

The 2023 Competition theme is “Footprint”.

Tax, Super + You Competition

If you’re a student in years 7–12, we want you to unleash your creativity and find a way to tell us about tax and super! Our competition will not only give you an insight into the value of tax and super, but you have the chance to win a share of $13,200 in prizes!

For your chance to become Australia’s next tax and super creative genius, you must:

  • be a student in years 7–12
  • be enrolled in the Australian education system
  • submit an entry – up to 3 entries per person/group only
  • complete a separate entry form for each entry
  • complete a film or photo consent form for each person shown in your entry
  • comply with the competition’s terms and conditions – including only using music with permission or an appropriate licence.

Entries are open from 29 May to 25 August 2023.
