On Monday 30 November, Year 6 hosted their last Junior School Assembly.
The students had worked hard on putting together an Assembly that truly celebrated their time in Junior School. From speeches sharing special memories from across the year groups to dances, musical acts and performances that showcased their talents, we could really see the passions of this group of Hills Originals come to life.
Principal, Michael Smith and newly appointed Head of Junior School Sarah Black, presented graduation certificates and elbow bumps to each member of the year group.
Family and friends could not, unfortunately, join the Assembly in person, but more than 60 parents joined us via zoom to celebrate with their children.
Year 6 were fortunate to be able to still celebrate the end of Junior School at the Year 6 dinner. Although parents were not in attendance, they still had family photos prior to the dinner. The students enjoyed dancing the night away as well as the traditional grade picture on the stairs.
