2018 New Staff Induction Program

Community Learning Walks

Extraordinary education calls for all staff to form deep connections based on a meaningful understanding of our School and our collective journey to innovate our practices and inspire students.

The Community Learning Walks aim to assist new staff to:

  • learn more about the history, culture and context of our School
  • become more acquainted with our unique learning environment across the campus
  • connect with our school community by meeting staff who in various departments, stages and faculties across the School.

The first Community Learning Walk was to the School Museum in the ‘White House’.

This was a wonderful opportunity for our new staff to learn about our School History.  Marilynne Vietnieks (School Archivist) was delighted to share her knowledge about how the School began and the growth that has taken place over more than 30 years.
