Access to School Services
The School provides Internet access to students through our managed Wi-Fi network.
The School has secured Microsoft A5 licences for students. This provides them with a Microsoft Office 365 account and access to a suite of Microsoft applications, including OneNote and Teams, which are core systems used by teachers throughout Senior School.
The School has heavily invested in providing a secure digital environment for students. When connected to the School’s managed network, all internet traffic is filtered and monitored.
It is important to note that the technology used to provide protection is provided through the Hills Grammar network. As such, they do not extend to devices when not connected on campus. This means that your child may be able to access content at home that they can’t access at school.
Digital Safety
Hills Grammar uses a platform to monitor student online activity. The platform is purpose-built with wellbeing in mind to provide key school leaders with real-time alerts of online activity that is deemed as concerning.
