Term 4 saw the annual Leadership Assembly, during which the captains and leaders for the year 2026 were officially appointed. Principal Mrs. Yager addressed the assembly, emphasising the significance of collective leadership and the courage required to inspire all students to lead with both their intellect and their emotions. Following her remarks, she introduced the esteemed guest speaker, Marie Sherry, who served as School Captain in 2015.
In her speech, Marie reflected on her own school experience and credited her former teachers and Principal for their invaluable mentorship. She also reminded students of the importance of everyday leadership, encouraging them to recognise the potential for leadership in their daily actions.
The school is thrilled to announce the following student leaders for 2026: the School Captains are Jack and Vedhika, while Siddhi and Harrison have been appointed as Vice Captains. In the Junior School, the Captains are Kiara and Rocky, with Boston and Eris serving as Vice Captains.
For the Junior School House Leaders, Flynn and Anaya will lead Rogan, Ava and Charlotte will represent Castle, Noah and Hudson will head Pennant, and Levi and Hattie will lead McGrath. In the Senior School, Harrison and Aaryan will lead Rogan, Aarya and Lochan will represent Castle, Neil and Tapiwa will head Pennant, and Declan and Benjamin will lead McGrath.
Additionally, the School has appointed Special Portfolio Captains: Florentine, Yannis, Jasmin, and Emma for Community; Nicole and Chris for Academic; Abigail, Alana, and Emma for Co-curricular; Hamish and Alexander for Sport; and Claudia, Simrah, and Shruti for Wellbeing. The Special Portfolio Leaders include Sana, Yana, and Joey for Community; Eva and Eva for Academic; Winston and Sienna for Co-curricular; Scott and Amy for Sport; and Huon and Kushikha for Wellbeing.
