Hills Grammar School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive teaching team in 2027. This position involves teaching French across Years 7 to 12, including French Extension. It is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to inspiring students through language learning and fostering a deep appreciation of French language and culture.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative French lessons to students in Years 7 to 12 (including Extension French).
  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated and contemporary learning programs.
  • Promote linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.
  • Use innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance student learning.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and faculty initiatives.
  • Participate actively in the broader co-curricular life of the School.

About You

You will:

  • Hold current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Be qualified and experienced in teaching French across secondary year levels.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Have the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Exhibit a passion for language education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Embody the School’s values of excellence, respect and integrity.
