Global Assessment Schedule, Scope and Sequence and Assessment Grids

In the first half of Term 1 each year, we publish a Global Assessment Schedule which itemises each assessment task for the year. While the dates are still subject to change, the Global Assessment Schedule is a useful document for ‘forward planning’. Students receive a hardcopy, and the Global Assessment Schedules for each year group are located on the School Intranet under Academic Programs / Assessment & Reporting. Click here to view

To access these documents, please first log in to the Intranet using the parent / parentthgs login.

More detailed information about the curriculum and assessment program can be found on the Intranet by subject in the Academic Programs section. ‘Scope and Sequence’ documents indicate to students, parents and teachers what is being taught and when. The ‘Assessment Grids’ also itemise the assessments for each subject, by year group, and include such details as the percentage weighting and the type of assessment. As an example, follow the School Intranet to Academic Programs / English and click on the year to see the Scope and Sequence and Assessment Grids for the subject of English. Click here

Students in Years 10, 11 and 12 have also received a copy of the Assessments Requirement Booklet. This booklet – written in a Question and Answer format – covers all aspects of School policy on such matters as submission, misadventure, rights and responsibilities of students.
