Enrolment Policy and Profile

The School has a non-selective (no entrance tests) admission policy where each application is considered on its merits. The School has a comprehensive intake and is open to all students regardless of cultural, socio-economic and religious background. Priority is given to siblings of children already enrolled and to the children of ex-students. All applicants are expected to demonstrate a willingness and ability to support the School's Mission and to apply themselves to academic study and to participate fully in school life.

  • All enrolment procedures and practices comply with the various state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
  • As a K to 12 co-educational institution, the school has a practice of providing an equal number of places for boys and girls and wherever possible attempts to ensure gender balance.
  • All families who make enquiries are sent a prospectus and invited to attend one of the School's monthly tours.
  • All applications must be submitted with supporting documentation including references, school reports, results of public tests as well as information relating to any special needs.
  • All applicants for Kindergarten and Year 7 are invited to an enrolment interview with the Director of Enrolments and are offered places depending on vacancies.
  • Date of application, gender, sibling status, readiness for school, academic progress, and co curricular involvement  are all factors (as appropriate) that are taken into account.
  • In assessing each application for enrolment, each prospective student's educational needs are considered and where necessary further information is sought in consultation with parents and other relevant people.
