School Development

At Hills we take pride in our excellent educational programs and state-of-the-art facilities set in an idyllic bush and landscaped environment. This legacy has been built on the generosity of past and current parents, friends and business partners.

 

The Hills Grammar School is a non-profit organisation and as an independent school, we receive limited funding from the State and Commonwealth Governments. The school must therefore seek other sources of funds to help finance large scale building projects and ensure prudent loan capital borrowings.

 

Generally, the School's fundraising activities will enable it to reduce pressure on tuition fees, fast-track building expansion and create a pool of investment funds. The generosity of most school families over the years has resulted in excellent facilities which are maintained to the highest standards for the benefit of all students.

 

Fundraising takes place at two levels: by seeking philanthropic support from the members of the school community; and by developing corporate partnerships and business networks.
