Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

PAFA hosted an old fashioned tea party for around 50 parents, friends, administration staff and some teachers on Thursday morning in The Pavilion. A delicious spread of iced tea, hot tea, coffee, chocolate slice, quiches, salmon sandwiches, fruit and yogurt jars, cakes and gorgeous tea cup biscuits were just some of the many tasty treats available.

Thank you to Melissa Mackay, BreastScreen Health Promotion Officer from Westmead Breast Cancer Institute for providing us with a very informative talk on breast cancer and the importance of mammograms.

A huge thanks to Donna White for unleashing her imagination to style the event (very professional) and bake treats. There were so many other cooks/helpers; Renu McVay, Jodi Ansell, Christine Ladewig, Sandy Luxton, Lisl Dobson, Gisela Spallek, Anne Dewar, Natalie Keller, Azizah Sampson, and Dana Coleman.

Thank you to all the wonderful families that donated online or at the morning tea. We were able to raise a huge $2251 for Cancer Council.
