School Museum and Archive
The School Museum and Archive were established in 1997, 15 years after the School's foundation. They are located in the White House, which was the original dwelling of the Jackson family. The archivist, Marilynne Vietnieks continues to collect, accession and maintain records that cover the full range of school operations going back to the embrionic stage of The Hills Grammar School.
The Museum and Archive play an integral role in collecting and preserving the history of the School as a significant development in the Hills District at large and more specifically for its present and past families. The Archives' collection contains items that document this history, such as photographs, documents, publications, oral histories, memorabilia, student works and ephemera.
The Archive provides students and teachers with a resource that complements the curriculum, containing fascinating primary sources that are real and personal to the students.
The archivist also supports school reunions and special anniversaries, mounting memorabilia and photographic displays.
Donations of memorabilia are most welcome. All donations to the Archives are documented, acknowledged and processed in accordance with archival procedures.

The Gallery
Located on the upper level of the Mallik Building, the Gallery was officially opened on 7 May 2010 and it has been created to exhibit pieces of historical significance relating to the School, local community and the nation.
The 25th Anniversary Quilt, which has been framed to conservation standards, is prominently displayed in one of The Gallery's walls. The quilt was four years in the making and evolved into a timeless fabric masterpiece measuring over 2 x 2 metres. It was designed by local artist Lesley Boston and lovingly quilted by fifteen ladies with close connections to the School. The quilt is complemented by a pictorial display featuring images from the early days of the School to its 25th Anniversary.
The inaugural exhibition at The Gallery, researched and installed by the School Archivist, displayed museum objects reflecting the story narrated by the 25th anniversary quilt.
In 2011, The Gallery housed an exhibition entitled "1901 Federation of Australia - The Road to Nationhood", containing an exceptional collection of federation materials. All objects in this display highlighted the issues and the people who were instrumental in uniting Australia.
