Visual Arts and Technology and Applied Studies Building - named The Booth Centre

The completion of the Art & Craft Building in 1989 (the ninth school building) provided specialist facilities previously occupied in rooms beneath the Primary School. Major extensions in 2001 transformed the teaching and learning opportunities available at the School with Visual Arts on the top floor and Technology and Applied Studies below. 25 October 2002 was the official opening of the Visual Arts and Technology and Applied Studies Building and renamed "The Booth Centre" by Mrs Joan Booth - mother of Founder Mr Ross Booth. The naming of the Booth Centre was in honour of the school founder and his parents who contributed and supported the formation of the School. Ross was present alongside his mother at the Opening of the Booth Centre at the Twentieth Anniversary of the School where Joan Booth addressed the Foundation Assembly.
